Indiana Bones' Story

Have you ever felt like you haven’t yet discovered your true passion? If you’ve already found it early in life, consider yourself fortunate. For me, it took 18 years to find the courage to leave my career as a mechanical engineer and pursue something completely different. That’s how Indiana Bones was born—a venture inspired by my deep love for dogs and hiking.

What began as a modest idea quickly grew into something extraordinary in my mind. As I poured my heart into building the company, my determination only grew stronger. Indiana Bones was created to fill a gap in our "mountainless" region, offering an exceptional experience for both dogs and their owners. Our mission is simple: to provide unforgettable adventures that bring joy to every dog we serve.

Indiana Bones' Founder

Sam Zambon is a mechanical engineer with master’s degrees in industrial management and human resources, specializing in leadership and conflict resolution. Originally from Brazil, he relocated in 2018. His lifelong passion for dogs began with a Doberman named Ariane during his early childhood. Over the years, his family grew to include Nikita (Poodle), Antaris (Husky), Bubby (German Shepherd), Jimmy (Sheepdog), Anya (Shar-Pei), and Oscar (a Labrador and Great Pyrenees mix). Reflecting on his experiences, Sam shares, “Each of them taught me as much as I taught them.”

Sam also lives with a mental disability that presents daily challenges. As a survivor of childhood abuse, he developed Social Anxiety Disorder (S.A.D.). Through his relationships with his dogs, Sam discovered the true meaning of love and companionship.
